Pros: Huge levels, new story, Mario on Gamecube
Cons: Camera problems, relies to much on Water Cannon
The Bottom Line: While this is not what you would expect from Mario, story wise, positives outweigh negatives, fun once adjustments are made to Water Cannon aspect and new level designs of game.
Review: -This review is being written 37 shines into the game-
When I first heard about the new Mario game, my first thought was about time. As I saw the first pictures of the game, I was very disappointed that the game looked very different than what... |

Pros: Beautiful, colorful environments, fluid controls.
Cons: Horrid presentation, doesn't quite feel like Mario.
The Bottom Line: You'll do no wrong in picking up Super Mario Sunshine, but as great as it is, we're used to seeing better from Nintendo.
Review: Anyone who knows anything about videogames knows that Mario is perhaps the industrys most recognizable figure. Yeah, Tomb Raiders Lara Croft is sexier and Sonic the hedgehog may be a bit hipper, but the fact remains that Mario, for all...

Pros: Nice graphics, good action slash platformer overall.
Cons: Music could be better, the difficulty get out of hand in later missions.
The Bottom Line: Super Mario Sunshine is a reincarnation of an N64 classic while still retaining a name for itself as a separate game. An intelligent gamer won't overlook this one.
Review: A classic hero returns in this slight sequal to an N64 classic. This Mario game has nearly identical gameplay to that of Super Mario 64. That's a good thing though. This game has all the Mario necesities. Fun gameplay, lush graphics, sweet sound, and ...

Pros: Great Gameplay, Great water effects, A nice dose of Mario
Cons: Difficult on some shines, more linear that Mario 64, some difficult blue coin stars
The Bottom Line: Super Mario Sunshine is a great buy for any Gamecube owner. I recommend it.
Review: Story: Simply put, the story in Super Mario Sunshine is slightly less nonexistent than that of Super Mario 64. That is to say, it is negative infinity plus a couple hundred. Im not saying this is a bad thing, as story is not at all what Mario...

Pros: Models, sounds, great gameplay!
Cons: bland texture and voice acting sucks. Music is mediocre.
The Bottom Line: A great game for the mario series, although the story is rather lame. A definite buy for Mario fans.
Review: Once upon a time, there was a little Japanese company by the name of Nintendo that decided released a little video game system called the Famicom, known as the Nintendo Entertainment System in the U.S. It became very popular with one of its premier...

Pros: Mario's finally back with more classic platforming goodness!
Cons: Levels seem to be too easy, and annoying camera.
The Bottom Line: It may be a bit easier, and the camera is annoying, but it's worth it. Fun in the sun-shoot, another "sunshine" pun!
Review: We've waited so long, and because of this, we expect something really, really good.
Throughout the late 90's, after the release of the brilliant Super Mario 64, which everyone gobbled up happily, there was always a slight indication that,... |

Pros: Great game, Innovative, solid gameplay, great water effects
Cons: Graphics are little weak, camera gets in the way, The other Mario games were better.
The Bottom Line: I recommend Mario Sunshine because it is a great game, but don't expect anything revolutionary.
Review: My very first Mario game was Super Mario Brothers for the Nintendo Entertainment System, which I believe, was Nintendo's first home console. When I first looked at it, I didn't know much about that kind of game, or Mario for that matter. But as soon as...

Pros: Fun, puzzle-like, challenging
Cons: Extremely hard later on, and lame endings
The Bottom Line: Fun game, but more could've been done. It's unfortunate that this game got a bad wrap before it even came out! Get it sometime!
Review: When I had first heard of this game, to say I was skeptical would be a understatement. In fact the entire premise sounded just plain dumb to me. Actually, briefly after we got the GameCube my sister continued to harass my parents until they gave in and bo ...

The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a solid game to play when you are by yourself, this is a good pick.
