The Bottom Line: This games has everything you want from a platformer. It's just plain fun. Don't worry about comparisons. Just play and have a good time.
Review: Normally, I would wait a little longer to review a video game, and it's quite possible that I should, even with this one. However, I can't resist expressing some of my ideas, feelings, etc. about this game.

Review: Super Mario Sunshine is all water. Water is your weapon, the levels all have a lot of water in them, and you win the game with, you guessed it, water. It's also a very addictive game, and you won't want to stop playing it- even to use the washroom (just ...

by  Mike_Bracken, top reviewer in Games ,  Jul 21, 2003
Pros: It is a Mario game...which is almost always a good thing.
Cons: A lack of innovation, a terrible camera system.
The Bottom Line: Not a terrible game by any stretch, SMS still falls well short of the greatness that was Super Mario World and Super Mario 64.

Pros: -Great game-play -Big levels -Mario's back!
Cons: -Tropical theme gets old -Seems rushed
The Bottom Line: In the end, it boils down to this. It's Mario, it's his new game. Buy it.
Review: I challenge you to find a person who has not heard of Mario. Ask people, and it will surprise you how many people can sing the theme, or tell you something about him. He is probably the most recognized video game character, and one of the oldest. He is...
