Pros: original concept, easy to learn, different modes of play
Cons: addictive, not fun for the monkeys
The Bottom Line: Kinda like Marble Madness, but better. Also, party games and bonus games add to the monkey fun.
Review:
Introduction Initially, I wanted to rent Super Monkey Ball (SMB) before spending $50 on it but I had read so many positive reviews that I simply could not pass up a chance to own this game. So, on launch day, my boyfriend and I... |

Pros: Fun fun fun
Cons: Music and new mini games
The Bottom Line: Jak-a-rific!
Review: "God bless Sega is all I can say. No one tries harder than they do, and even after vain attempts at console glory they simply revert to go back to what they do best... games."

Pros: Story mode, improved graphics, everything that made the original great
Cons: Some new mini-games are a bit weak, music can get irritating
The Bottom Line: Super Monkey Ball 2 is a excellent game that reminded me why I love video games. If you have a GameCube, your game library isn't complete without this.
Review: When the GameCube came out back in November of 2001, there werent a great number of exciting, original titles to choose from. There was the lackluster Luigis Mansion, the requisite Tony Hawk and Madden games that had already been out on the PS2 for...

Pros: Simple, addictive gameplay, lots of extra modes to play with
Cons: Can be incredibly frustrating, overabundance of product placement
The Bottom Line: Super Monkey Ball is an extremely addictive, engaging game, and an excellent first outing on the GameCube for Sega.
Review: Apparently, in order to work as a game designer at Sega, you either have to be really creative, or really disturbed. Probably a nice mix of both. Super Monkey Ball pretty much proves that theory. I can only imagine the meeting where one of the...

Pros: So incredibly addictive!
Cons: Can be repetitive. If you're weird.
The Bottom Line: Buy it and love me
Review: Super Monkey Ball is definitely one of the weirdest offerings to have come out of Segas coffers in recent times. Zany, madcap action that can be incredibly frustrating at times, but also incredibly good fun, the premise is simple: Choose from...

Pros: Excellent gameplay, VERY high replay value, who can resist animated monkeys?
Cons: Average sounds, can get very difficult/frustrating, backgrounds could use a little work.
The Bottom Line: Great game with a great replay value. If your a dedicated gamer with patience, this game is for you. The difficulty factor is there if your up for a challenge.
Review: Late last week, I made a decision that I would go out and get my first rental for my beloved Gamecube. For the first time, I used the recommendations of this site to help make my final decision. I was originally thinking of renting a sports game such...

Pros: A bevy of multiplayer games, arcade stages and modes. Still very addictive.
Cons: Rage-inducing puzzles/mazes.
The Bottom Line: Despite some of the evil stage designs, it's still a very well-rounded game for one or more players.
Review: Less than a year after the U.S. debut, Super Monkey Ball returns, and this time there's more stages, modes and party games to keep you and your friends satisfied for weeks, even months to come. If you're not familiar with the Monkey Ball game/formula, ...

Cons: Umm....?
The Bottom Line: Unprecedented *I just put that word there to sound smart, if you don't like it then it's ok* fun
Review: Super Monkey Ball

Pros: Great Gameplay, excellent Multiplayer, Many good graphics, nice sound
Cons: few and far between
The Bottom Line: Get this game. If you happen to be low on cash, rent it! With so many modes, its nearly impossible to not find anything you like.
Review: I was incredibly lucky this Christmas as one of my friends actually got me a GameCube game, and let me open it early as well. Before all I had was Luigi's Mansion, and that game was fun but it got old quickly. Now, with Super Monkey Ball, my excitement...

Pros: Simply addictive, and contains a lot of different gameplay modes.
Cons: Rather sparse, but arcade-like graphics. Monkeys are annoying. High level of frustration.
The Bottom Line: It's a simple game, but it's very addictive and has one of the highest replay values of any game I've seen in ahwile.
Review: Super Monkey Ball. What a concept for a game! I mean really, monkeys in a ball? But as obscure as this concept is, Monkey Ball is really about classic arcade gameplay with a twist. Once you play, it may seem like you may have done this before, perhaps...
