Epinions Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas: Living The Thug Life

by  kjell1979, top reviewer in Games ,  Nov 9, 2004
Pros: freedom, bigger map, more to do, better scattering of items, maintains GTA integrity, better AI
Cons: graphics aren't pristine, camera logic needs some work, over the top adult content
The Bottom Line: Rockstar has exceeded expectations with this game.
Review: Gr and Theft Auto Vice City was the reason I got my P S2. While there have been many imitators, no game to date has matched the level of freedom and gameplay the Grand Theft Auto series ...

Epinions Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas: - Giving California Love Like a Rockstar

by  jeremy1456, top reviewer in Games ,  Nov 9, 2004
Pros: Huge World, New Mechanics, Tons of Vehichles, So Much To Do, Graphics, Music, Multiplayer
Cons: Some Small Glitches, Pop-Up
The Bottom Line: Out Of The Three Holiday Big Hitters, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, Halo 2, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, GTA just may prove to be the best.
Review: Rockstar seemed more than a little hesitant to reveal much information when Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was first announced. I'm not really sure why, as they seemed all too willing to release tons and tons of media for it's two ...

Epinions Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - Hot Coffee, Anyone?

by  vadimio,  Oct 30, 2004
Pros: 100+ hours of gameplay, great story, so much variety, amazing cast, magnitude of the game
Cons: graphics are definitely not perfect, some missions are frustrating
The Bottom Line: Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is the best PlayStation 2 game I have ever played. If you have a PS2, then you simply HAVE to get this game.
Review: The Grand Theft Auto series is one the most successful series in video game history, despite its mature and excessively violent content. Rockstar Games, the developer and published of the games, have released Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas just in time ...

Epinions Taking a trip to San Andreas?

by  ltrain,  Feb 4, 2008
Pros: Violent, gritty, it's like strongly linked to the rap music 'gangsta' culture.
Cons: Too violent, gritty, and profanity laced for most parent's taste.
The Bottom Line: A huge game with tons of replay value...and it's lots of fun as long as you don't have a moral objection to it.
Review: Did you ever wonder why Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was briefly banned from American stores? Did you know much about the game at the time, or understand that the 'dirty little secret' programmed into the game was really only a very small part of the ...

Epinions I Left My Heart In San Andreas

by  awoolcott, top reviewer in Games ,  Nov 5, 2004
Pros: It's huge
Cons: It's confusingly huge sometimes
The Bottom Line: Hey you morons, I didn't write all these words for you to read this instead.
Review: Three years ago, Grand Theft Auto III pulled one of the biggest heists in game history – silently overshadowing and ultimately crushing other, more anticipated titles on the PlayStation2 that fall; namely Metal Gear Solid 2, Devil May Cry, and Final ...

Epinions Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - Welcome to America!!!

by  Horhay,  Oct 27, 2004
Pros: so many
Cons: not much
The Bottom Line: Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is the biggest game to hit the Playstation 2. Hands down the best game of the year.
Review: Rockstar Games could have taken the easy way out with their newest Grand Theft Auto game. Add some new characters here, put some songs there, add a few missions, and you got a final product that will sell millions. But that’s not the case for San ...

Epinions This Game Be Da Sh*T Still Yo

by  tecumseh416,  Apr 15, 2006
Pros: graphics are amazing, game is HUGE, storyline, innovation, much more
Cons: music a little lacking, too many stereotypes, NOT FOR KIDS!
The Bottom Line: Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, the best GTA game yet. You want freedom? Play this Game.
Review: Well, I bought it for my dad for his birthday the other day...a 40 something year old English professor who loves video games, particularly Grand Theft Auto...and I've been playing it every day since. Few games, like novels, have the ability to just ...

Epinions I'm so tired, maybe I need some hot coffee? BANNED!

by  StarSoldier1, top reviewer in Games ,  Oct 13, 2005
Pros: This game is absolutely huge!
Cons: The graphics look dated and most stores won't carry it.
The Bottom Line: San Andreas is still a great game but with a bit of hacking it's even better!
Review: GRAND THEFT AUTO SAN ANDREAS (Rockstar North, October 2004) Do you want to play one of the biggest games ever created on the Playstation2 (or PS2) but you can't find it? Unfortunately, the very gritty crime drama Grand Theft Auto San Andreas ...

Epinions Welcome to GTA Heaven

by  cricketsodacom,  Nov 14, 2004
Pros: Huge, Great Gameplay, Amazing Story Line
Cons: Graphic Glitches, No Online Play
The Bottom Line: You must own this game. If you don't have it, do whatever you have to do to get it.
Review: The Grand Theft Auto series has always been my favorite. Unlike most sequels, each new Grand Theft Auto brings a whole new level of gaming with each new title. The latest release, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is no exception. Along with its new name it ...

Epinions Super Fun Happy Time Across the West Coast, Brotha!

by  BaronSamedi3, top reviewer in Games ,  Mar 19, 2005
Pros: New mechanics make the series feel like it really went somewhere
Cons: You would be one if you attempted these things in real life
The Bottom Line: Los Santos, San Andreas? San Fierro, San Andreas? Las Venturas, San Andreas? They don't sound as good as their real counterparts.
Review: The second I knew Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas went above and beyond its call of duty as a video game occured at a point when I was nearing the end of the area known as the Badlands: The main character, Carl Johnson, had recently been dumped by his main ...
