Epinions Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker - Whew, it's windy today!

by  Rock_On, top reviewer in Games ,  Apr 6, 2003
Pros: graphics, music, gameplay
Cons: minor frame-rate drops during a couple cut-scenes
The Bottom Line: Excellent addition to the Gamecube library.
Review: The Legend of Zelda series has been a long time staple in Nintendo’s valiant success. However unfortunate as it is, I’m what you might call a “late bloomer”, when it comes to the video game dimension. I had a NES yes, but I was...

Epinions Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker: - Link's Journey On The Cel Shaded Seas

by  jeremy1456, top reviewer in Games ,  Oct 19, 2004
Pros: Details in Graphics, Gameplay, Story
Cons: Over Exaggerated Cel Shaded Features, Control (At Times)
The Bottom Line: A More Mature Zelda Game Is On The Horizon, But Don't Hold Out On The Wind Waker Because of It.
Review: It's been hard to be a Nintendo gamer this generation, I'd say even moreso than in last. If I was torn only to Gamecube I think I would have given up on gaming with all of the trouble amongst fans Nintendo has been stirring lately. Not only did Nintendo ...

Epinions Nintendo: Passing gas and lighting it all up in flames. (Nintendo W/O)

by  ChromeKiller, top reviewer in Games ,  Jul 19, 2003
Pros: Everything.
Cons: Not much.
The Bottom Line: You'd be a fool not to buy this game. That is all.
Review: Nintendo knows how to make us laugh, and make us cry; make us brave, and make us weak; make us discover, and make us forget. But out of all Nintendo makes us, we remain gamers. Believe it or not, Nintendo is a 119-year-old company. Starting their ...

Epinions The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker: Ever want to play a cartoon?

by  rice75,  Apr 19, 2003
Pros: Unparalleled graphics and sound. A great story and fun!
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: Buy this game without delay.
Review: Nintendo is usually said in the same breath with two other names: Mario and Zelda. From its eight-bit glory to its present form, Nintendo has provided an enjoyable and accesible game called the Legend of Zelda. I know you remember the T.V. commercials...

Epinions Legend Of Shigeru Miyamoto: The Game God

by  JiggyJay, top reviewer in Games ,  Oct 16, 2003
Pros: You'll see...
Cons: ...When you read my review, dude.
The Bottom Line: I hate the bottom line so I choose not to write it
Review: WHY? Why do you do this to us, Shigeru Miyamoto? Why do you make such beautiful, incredible games in such little time like Metroid Prime, Super Mario Sunshine, and this ...

Epinions Zelda: The Wind Waker: Travel the Earth, on the small screen

by  pavona21, top reviewer in Games ,  May 29, 2003
Pros: -Graphics, It's Zelda!
Cons: -Peeing your pants
The Bottom Line: I like to review games 2 months after they come out!
Review: Intro: Give it back
As of today,(regardless of when you’re reading this) it has been over 10 years since I truly found my gaming. Right before that point in my life, I had soccer, basketball, baseball, cartoons, and even flashlight tag,...

Epinions It's no Ocarina Of Time but it's still great.

by  carl_lazarevic,  Aug 5, 2003
Pros: Classic Zelda tunes, colorful graphics, imaginative characters and locations. Dungeons and a lot more besides.
Cons: It's not as good as Ocarina Of Time
The Bottom Line: It's by far the best game I've played on my gamecube yet. Bold, colorful, imaginative and genuinely funny. Nintendo have done it again.
Review: Story Long ago, there existed a kingdom where a golden power lay hidden. One day, a man o ...

Epinions Cel-Shading aye? Good ol' Zelda

by  bangj,  Jul 15, 2004
Pros: Amazing world sweeps you away, All new Zelda Adventure
Cons: Lacking in a dungeon or two. Some lame enemies.
The Bottom Line: Do Not miss out on this game, under any circumstances. At least give it a try. You won't regret it.
Review: Since the Ocarina of Time on the Nintendo 64 (The greatest game of all time, in my opinion) set the Zelda games on a path of maturity, most gamers expected that more advanced hardware from the GameCube would result in a more realistic and adult looking ...

Epinions Wind Waker: You'd Think Zelda Would Hire Better Bodyguards By Now.

by  B_Campbell, top reviewer in Games ,  Apr 11, 2003
Pros: Huge gameplay, beautiful graphics, great control, it has it all
Cons: Some gender-bending characters may confuse your children
The Bottom Line: A must-have game, a great reason to buy a Game Cube, and I like bagels.
Review: Every geek knows about this game, and every geek is playing it right now. But that doesn't mean you need to be a geek to enjoy The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. You don't need to know who Link or Zelda are, or what Rupees are, what the Triforce is,...

Epinions The Wind Waker: The Result of Many Sleepless Nights

by  Horhay,  Apr 10, 2003
Pros: graphics, so much to do and explore
Cons: the massive water world might discourage some
The Bottom Line: The Wind Waker encompasses many elements that made The Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask great, while at the same time giving gamers something new and equally enjoyable.
Review: Story: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (WW) starts out with an intro to how an evil force has escaped from imprisonment and how good must prevail during this dark time. Yeah, we’ve all seen it before. After the brief cut-scene, ...
