Author's Review

Vanishing Point is one of the freshest racing games I've played. It's like an arcade/console game in one.
You choose one of 32 cars on 13 tracks and try and win a race in a futureistic world.

Tournement Mode
In tournament mode, each car is presented with three individual heats in which to race, each of which is in turn including of two or three of the game's 12 main courses, with mirrored and reversed tracks coming up intermittently.

You start off with a choice of 2 of the saddest cars around and get more as you advance.
Instead of overtaking opponents, you try and beat top times. This is really cool for some reason (its hard to explain). It's like a cross between Daytona and Crazy Taxi!

Gameplay
Great idea, with fresh presentation. Teleporting opponents can be annoying sometimes (this is a bug) but overall really cool

Graphics
Oh so slick! Great backgrounds for races.

Sound
Nice soundtrack! Good sound all up.

How it scored

Gameplay : 9/10
Graphics : 9/10
Music : 10/10
Overall : 9/10
